Founded in 2016, Stämm is applying nature’s use of laminar flow to down-size a whole biotech facility into an all-in-one, plug & play desktop unit with the unidirectional flow and continuous production to decentralize bioprocesses and democratize access to biotechnology products, thus freeing our partners to focus on the disruptive discoveries that make an impact in people’s life, fueled by nature.

For our IT teäm, we are seeking a tech-savvy Desktop Service Analyst to be responsible for providing technical assistance with computer systems, hardware, and software. The position is initially a 6 months temporary contract, but eventually might change to full-time. We are looking for someone well-versed in all aspects of computer and server configuration, set up, and maintenance, and also with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. As Desktop Service Analyst you will be responsible for Level 1 and 2 support tickets for both workstations and servers, which may come via email, chat, web or personally, and to recognize and escalate Level 2 and 3 cases to the other members of the IT team

Job responsibilities:
●Provide technical support to users via email, in person, through remote access or web-based
● Provide assistance on service and applications back-end configuration
● Offering technical assistance on the delivery, configuration, set up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, hardware, and software
● Researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining workstation and LAN performance
● Training computer users on basic tasks and good practices
● Writing and editing documentation related to common questions and issues
● Running reports and analyzing common complaints and problems

● Computer Science, Information Technology or simlar degree/certfication, or student
● A strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.\
● Good problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● An openness to learning new technologies
● PC and UNIX system configuration and maintenance
● Experience with virtualized environments
