Your participation in this study
You are invited to participate in a research study about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemics on Hispanic and border businesses and their prospects during the recovery stage. The survey is coordinated by the Interdisciplinary Research Group (GIDI in Spanish). GIDI is a consortium of researchers at El Colegio de la Frontera Norte, El Colegio de Sonora, Arizona State University, AXIS Centro de Investigacion Estrategica, and Despacho Ruiz-Morales y Asociados.
The survey asks about the impacts of the pandemic on business with the aim of updating information and outlining scenarios for business in different industries and cities. Due to the nature of the questions, it is necessary that responses are provided by a business owner or manager. If you agree to be part of the research study, you will be asked to provide information about your business and your perceptions as owner/manager.
Participating in this study is completely voluntary. Even if you decide to participate now, you may change your mind and stop at any time. You may choose not to continue with the interview for any reason. We will protect the confidentiality of your responses by no collecting information that identify you personally or your business. The information collected in this project may be shared with other researchers and the results of this study could be published in articles or presentations, but data will be presented only in aggregated form.
The estimated average duration of the survey is 10 minutes. If you have questions about this research study, please contact Francisco Lara at (480) 965-7119 or firstname.lastname@example.org
