User-Chi Diary 0 - My experience with electric vehicles _EN

Good morning / afternoon and welcome to this activity of USER-CHI project. Thank you very much for participating in the improvement and promotion of the electric vehicle charging network in Europe that is being carried out by the User-Chi project, and in particular, thank you for helping us to improve mobility in our city.

During the following days, we want you to analyse how you plan and carry out the charging of electric vehicles and how the elements that make up the charging infrastructure should improve (mobile applications, charging points, plugs, payment modalities ...).

The main objectives of this activity are the following:

·         To describe the main features of the charging process today, identifying their main weaknesses and improvement opportunities, such as planning, availability, location, access, identification or payment.

·         To identify functionalities and features of the charging infrastructure’s components that overcome the identified weaknesses and improve the charging process.  This information will be the starting point for the improvement of the European charging infrastructure.

To develop these activities we are going to arrange 5 blocks of activities, 1 block to tell us about your electric vehicle driver profile and 4 blocks for the charging process analysis:

We have sent you a link for each phase of the process; you can do the activities in several days or all at once. You will need about 15 minutes to do the activities of each phase.

In each phase of the charging process in which we are going to work, we propose you the following activities:

· We will ask you some questions so you can comment on the characteristics, problems and improvements proposed for each element of the process: information, technology, charging points, plugs, energy, systems of authentication and payment ...

· We will ask you to upload files such as videos or photos showing the characteristics and incidents of the loading process, and of course the aspects that you like the most. Please, avoid including in your images personal objects or personal images. It is important that these images are anonymous. We are interested in images that describe actions or situations, but not any kind of personal data.

· We will ask you to value some specific elements.

The moderators will help you to focus the type of contributions and to control the times. You can contact us through the chat that we will enable.
