Dear colleagues,
If you are qualified as a Vet Ophthalmologist or Vet Anesthesist (regardeless your specialisation level) and would like to get involved in creating a Global Canine Ocular Pain Scale, or if you know someone who would be interested in participating, then we would really appreciate it if you can please fill the survey form at the earliest.

This is intended for anyone who has a fair amount of canine ophthalmology clinical cases on their daily basis.
The first phase of the research aims to describe in your own words five categories of canine ocular pain: painless (I), mild pain (II), moderate pain (III), severe pain (IV), very severe pain (V). You may include signs related with superficial ocular pain, intraocular pain, orbital pain and behavioral pain.
ECVO Clinical and Research Ethics Committee support is also interested in this survey results for comparison with the present ocular pain scoring scheme in the Ethical Matrix, to ensure that animals used in clinical studies are treated humanely and following ethical guidelines.
Thank you very much for joining us and your interest in fighting pain!
