Tesol 7 - The Most Inspiring ELT Project Award Application

The TESOL Colombia Most Inspiring ELT Project Award recognizes outstanding English Language Teaching (ELT) initiatives that have generated meaningful impact, inspired innovation, and contributed to the advancement of English language learning in Colombia. If you or your institution has developed and implemented a project that has transformed learning experiences, fostered engagement, promoted inclusion, or created positive change within your educational community, we want to hear about it.

Only projects implemented in Colombian educational institutions are eligible to participate.

If you would like to nominate a colleague’s project, please provide his/her name and email address here. We will contact him/her directly.

NOTE: If your project’s primary focus is the implementation of educational technology, please apply for the award BEST TECH IN ELT.

Steps to Apply

1. Register for TESOL Colombia VII and pay the special registration fee for Award nominees.
2. Complete the application form with your project proposal.
3. Prepare a 5- to 7-minute pitch to be presented during TESOL Colombia VII. Your presentation should include:
- The challenge or need identified.
- The solution implemented.
- The impact achieved (your “wow” moment).
- A compelling conclusion highlighting why the project is inspiring and worth sharing with the ELT community.

12.BACKGROUND: School description and background of the individual or team members who participated in the project. (200 words max) (Obligatorio).
13.DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: Needs analysis, target population, objectives, language learning or teaching methodology, materials or resources, evaluation instruments or procedures (300 words max) (Obligatorio).
14.RESULTS AND IMPACT: Describe the ELT project outcomes and the pedagogical benefits of the implementation. Include evidence of results. (300 words max)(Obligatorio).
15.JUSTIFICATION: Describe what makes this project remarkable in the ELT Colombian field and explain why your project deserves this award. (200 words max)(Obligatorio).
