Job description
At Stämm we are growing and building our Software Development team. We are building software tools and computer science solutions capable of dealing with different hardware devices that capture multiple signals from our laboratory assays, multi-modal database solutions for our data-warehouse, computer graphics developments for 3D printing challenges and high performance computing for numerical methods in simulation problems.
Key responsibilities:
• Design, build and maintain custom software tools.
• Write clear, clean and reusable code.
• Development of novel algorithms and multi-modal databases.
• Work in a dynamic and agile team environment, participating in design decisions, including new technology research and prototyping.
• Collaborate with other team members for core application integration.
• Assist with the designing and implementing computer algorithms and review existing legacy code systems.
• Lead 1 project within Stamm.
Required qualifications:
• 1+ years of professional software development.
• Experience working with database-connected code.
• Object oriented programming experience.
• Experience in at least one of the following programming languages such as Python, C+
+, C#, C , Bash, Javascript.
• Experience with Linux operating system.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Updated github profile.
Desired but not required:
• Background in Engineering or Computer Science
• Initial experience with Big Data technologies (hadoop, spark)
• Experience in computer graphics development
• Initial experience in High Performance Computing and parallel computing
• Basic knowledge of information security
